Well on the bright side, most of America is getting -faced at about this time so hopefully the tv audience rivals the paid attendance......
 
Explain to me why they keep starting out flat in most of their games this year. te effort seems to be lacking or is it just me.
 
I sense a comeback (I am not watching the game just following on twitter)
 
Houston is missing 3 starters too. This is a disgraceful performance. I get killed for saying we stink. Well we've played like crap quite frequently recently. Score 12 in a half to Stanford. Down 15 to Washington. Losing to eastern Washington with 5 min to go in the first half. This Abomination. Not exactly playing very well.
 
This one is ugly. Let's see if they respond this half. Defense had been inexcusable. Wake um up Kevin! Go huskies big comeback time.
 
Bazz is 0-5 and Niels hasn't even taken a shot yet.............wtf!

Honestly? Acting like this kind of half-assed play is just "one half" or "one game" and not a trend is more ridiculous and annoying than the doomsday prophecies.

Your head is very deep in the sand if you don't see major problems for UConn right now.

Hard to win when your playing 4 on 5.........Absolutely no production from our bigs. Its gonna be a long year.
 
Simmons has 26 points on the year on 30% shooting, not including his 9 first half points this game on 3/3 shooting.

Stringer is a 34% and 31% shooter on the season averaging 9 per game. He has 12 off the bench and is 3/5 and 2/2.

That is the biggest difference. Their bench players have been on fire, UConns bench has barely contributed.

Napier has also played like crap so far. At least Boat has come to play so far.
 
Hope our guards don't lose hope with this team and start playing for stats.

At least one of our bigs could go out there and rebound there a** off but it seems they don't know how to.
 
I am at a party with no tv...is Bazz having a scoreless 1st half?

I was responding to someone else's comment that UConn should fall off the radar after one bad half. Believe me, I'm yelling at the TV the same as everyone else and I'm probably going to break something if the team doesn't start rebounding but, geez, the hysteria of, essentially, saying the season to date's results should be wiped out because the team is playing like crap tonight?
 
Not sure how anyone can look at this performance and think that it's "just a bad half" This has been a regressive trend the past 3 weeks.

I don't get why KO has players front their man on the inbounds. Samuels fronted his guy, had no idea where the ball was, and as he chased his guy up the court it was right next to him the whole time. Definitely don't want to hear a bunch of quotes from Shabazz after this. Show up!
 
oh man. we're losing by 18 to Houston and Kara Lawson is calling our Conference Opener on WatchESPN.

this is such a goshdarn nightmare lol
 
I thought the Washington and Stanford games were sufficient wake-up calls for this team for the season. Apparently not. Playing around holidays doesn't suit this group of players.

I am speechless as to what i'm watching. How are these the same 2 teams? And why can't we do this for 40 min? Just don't understand it.
