twice at the end of each OT, we had a guy open underneath. Boat missed them each time.

Well, the last time he was triple covered with the clock running out. And, on the one before the clock might have run out if he passed it. It wasn't beautiful but Im not comfortable putting the blame on him because of those 2 plays.

If he didnt usually play like that I wouldnt question it. He always plays like that. Napier should have had ball.

Plenty of people had breakdowns so you don't want to put it on any one guy, but at the end of OT all he had to was pick up his head and he would have seen a wide open Daniels in the lane with plenty of time to get a shot off. At the end of the second OT it was pretty obvious that he wasn't going to give it up, but why dribble the ball into the corner and throw up a fadeaway 25 footer falling out of bounds?? Great effort as per usual but put this one in the column marked "blown opportunities."

See if your triple covers you usually pass it there was 6 seconds left when he got the ball. Napier hobbled fine but boat was making mistake after mistake at times. Like why look off Daniels so much ?!?

Sure, if he didn't have people, you know, defending him. This anti-Boat stuff is really starting to get on my nerves. Do we not have 2 examples over the last 3 years of PG taking a giant leap from soph to junior year? Shouldn't that be enough for UConn fans to hold off on pillorying the kid? What am I missing here?

Oh, and you might try spelling his name right.

And, with a one point diff after 2 OT, this was as good as a win to me.

Sorry about the extra 'W' in his name. He still is a ball hog with or without the 'W'.

Doesn't he lead the team in assists? Some ball hog.

Boatright has to learn that the Boat Show has its place. Dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble ad nauseam drives me crazy as it is and does not win games.

He should be made to watch the Women's team and learn the importance of good passing. Arguably, he lost the game---a game in which this team battled valiantly, never gave up and most of these guys deserved to win.

I hate to jump all over this kid, but he will be a much better player when he learns to play team basketball and sacrifice the glory for the win.

With Boat you have to take the bad with the good at this stage. For all of the highlight stuff he turns it over and he is not big or strong enough to drive it into a crowd and get his own shot. His mentality is score first which I get, but he has to improve the dish in those situations.

I'm sure KO is giving the credit in the locker room, but I would hope DD's performance would be noted here...

Career game for the kid, give props where it is due.

Great team effort tonight! However, if I'm Ollie, I have a serious talk with Boatright and explain to him how important he is to the success of the team and his schoolyard style of play is not a formula for success.

You people are friggin insane. The kid and Bazz have shared the ball like champs this year, but he's a selfish gloryhound?

Boat did make a great pass to Calhoun to tie the game, don't forget that.
Beat me to it.

Also look at the minutes these guys played. I have a hard time giving the players a hard of time for the last minute of double overtime after they gave everything they had while playing 45 min +. Yes I would have loved the win. I think it would have helped get them the recognition they deserve, but even without the w it seems like people are finally catching on.
