I could care less how Geno runs his team, BUT just don't keep up the noise about lack of depth and please, please, please, don't ever use the injury excuse. If there is an injury to a key player and he lacks the depth to fill in those voids, he only has himself to blame?
We talk about the "great developer" and "great ball movement" and the greats just go on and on. There is a method to the madness and that method is to focus ALL attention on the top 7 or 8 players, while the rest stand on the side lines and rally.
Now, it does build chemistry amongst those few and with chemistry comes good ball movement and trust among that group, so I will give credit there. However, as a player, if you think you might end up as a back up coming off the bench, I'd be careful selecting to play there. JusSayin! High fiving can be fatiguing.
But like I said, that method is risky, because it comes at the expense of having depth and also at the expense of ladies working their rear ends off in practice and not reaping the rewards of doing so.
There..I feel a Tiny bit better now.
