Warde should play hardball with Ollie. That's his job. I don't blame him for taking his time. He needs to get this right for UConn and Ollie.

I believe that Hamilton has yet to sign his LOI, and likely won't, making it a nonbinding situation and leaving him an out if Ollie jumps at an NBA offer. And the 2015 recruits would likely jump ship if Ollie were to leave now.

There's only a couple weeks left before Hamilton steps onto campus for June classes. Once he's enrolled, he's bound.

It has nothing to do with anyone's feelings. It's all the impact on recruiting.

It has had zero impact on recruiting and will have zero impact on recruiting unless he leaves, so right now it absolutely is 100% about people's feelings. Some people would be happier if KO took a worse deal for him right away than let him negotiate the best deal so that they don't have to worry about him going anywhere. Here is a better option that works for those people and for KO: just stop worrying about KO leaving UConn. Don't rely so heavily on the accomplishments of strangers.
