There is good news for Syracuse.

So who do we get in their stead? Boise St? San Diego State? Maybe Navy? Air Force? Pitt and Syracuse have, at least, been to the NCAA Tournament in the last five years. Their loss will be much more pronounced on the men's side. I, for one will miss these teams and will miss the Big East as it was, and, in my heart, wished it always could be.

I too wish the Big East would have stayed intact. 12 was a good number for the ACC. Its gonna be weird seeing Syracuse and Pitt fans down here in Greensboro.... though I doubt they will bring many of them at least for the Women's tournament.

Horrible impact for the future on Big East Women's basketball.

Horrible indeed. ed4ourgirls bringing the Sagarin rankings into the discussion is greatly appreciated. Pittsburg's current abysmal ranking is a recent occurrence. They were a very good team a few years ago, so, could very well be again in the ACC.
