The View From Section 241 — Buffalo

what are you even talking about? All of our games are televised this year. Rice and FAU will likely be ESPN+ because they’re in the American, BC will be on an ACC network channel, and all our home games are on CBSSN
This thread has some of the dumbest BY posts ever. Per UConn website:

Yes... because they are TBD games, the TV coverage is not listed. Both are AAC games... they could be on an ESPN linear network (unlikely, but possible) or they will be ESPN+.

They'll be available to watch...

i am known for takes hated by the BY (and which even I hate and I hope age like milk), but this chief thread that's going right now, is certified GOLD. Boneyard Hall of Fame material, right here
This thread collected a rare group of so many low basketball IQ posters in one place. Those who root against a home state RB, who averages 4.8 yards per carry and has scored 17 TDs and say whenever he touches the ball something bad happens.

@ZooCougar clueless about business take. Let’s take the 4th Dallas FW (SMU) and 6th Houston (UH) TV markets in the country back in UConn’s AAC days and have games on TV at 11am for those markets. And if someone who did business in Texas for years thinks it’s a bad idea, make a fool of yourself defending the 11am TV games.

You mean last season he had no fumbles when he basically didn’t play because he was 4th string and injured?

Amazing. No fumbles during a redshirt year.

He has 6 career fumbles in basically two seasons of play. That’s a ball security issue.
He has zero fumbles the last 10 games. His body is totally different than it was as a freshman/sophmore. Rarely does a freshman running back carry the load like he did. If you did your homework (which u don’t) you would know that. And you take a dumb take - he had 2 turnovers a season as a running back who had 14 TDs in those combined season and a 4.7 yard per carry during those two seasons.

Kickoff time and tv coverage usually isn’t announced until less than two weeks before the game. You should know that. Those games will be
ESPN+ isn’t TV. It is subscription and streams on a Smart TV using the ESPN app, streaming apps such as Hulu etc . True teams that don’t make real TV call it that, but it is what it is.

In this day and age... not every game is going to be on linear, even the men's basketball team played 3 games on Peacock last year and the Big East's contract calls for 25 regular season, all first round and the early quarterfinal games in the Big East tournament to be streamed.

It is what it is, it's overflow for games that wouldn't have otherwise been televised; better than having no coverage at all, on the bright side AAC ESPN+ production (for football only) is handled by ESPN, so it should be better than the mediocrity that some C-USA broadcasts have brought. It's also a vehicle that some media companies have used to offer slightly more money to conferences in exchange for the conference agreeing to put some more desirable content behind the paywall to drive subscriptions.

This has been debunked above. I'm so sick of Victor's little pack NVL fanboys crying about his lack of touches.
LOL. You have won the Chief v Zoo exchange. Chief has come out of nowhere and fallen from the sky outta the BB Board.
Rosa can be dynamic, but my heart is in my throat when it’s pitched to him. There is a place for him but not at 1 or 2 RB.
( just to be clear though, Bristol Central not NVL.)

Rosa looks like a better runner this year than his freshman year, stats don't show that. Not sure why he is getting so much less burn, seems to cut up field much better. Others are just better or Mora and team have other issues (fumbles, blocking). Nice to have two backs better than Rosa, things happen in games, he will get his chance to show out. It's a long season to go.

Chief are you just having trouble admitting that you don’t know how to find the ESPN app and that you don’t have a Smart TV.

Tell that to the conferences, who call streaming "TV"
