I don’t know…… watching that UCLA USC game, that was like watching different game. It just looked a lot more physical, and a step up in level of play compared to the Big East. UConn will certainly have their hands full. Anything after the round of 16 will be very difficult.

You realize we already played USC. Lost by 2, in a poor game by us, without Aubrey Griffin. Not worried if we face them again. In fact, not worried about anyone.

IMHO if UConn takes care of business and does UCONN things the UConn way they'll achieve great things!
In the SOCar game was a perfect example of that!

I don't like to engage in hyperbole, but the UConn defense is incredible. All these teams look invincible until they face a defense like UConn's. Physicality is part of the game, and the Huskies have been vaccinated against it. Their exposure to the injury bug has hardened them, and their journey has brought them together. Yes, they have much to worry about from the top 10 teams or so, but make no mistake: Every one of those top teams is concerned at UConn's three-headed monster and their supporting cast. UConn will be a tough out. Will we win the national championship? I don't know the answer to that question. But, here is another question that I feel is appropriate: If not UConn, then who? Boy it has been and continues to be great to be a UConn fan.

winning the 2025 National Champeenship!!!!

Write it down.
Book it.
Chisel it in marble.
Tell yer mamas.
Tell yer kids.
It's happening.

Ohhhh yeeeaaahh!!!
You and Tony are killing us. Please stop. You're gonna end up mojoing us out of a FF appearance. You've already cost us Griffin and 3/4 of a game.

As Becca once said "You can think it, you just can't say it".

It's just a great year for NCAA women's basketball! I still believe in that original Magnificent 7 teams, but NC St, Duke, TCU have now joined them to make a formidable top 10, and there are competent teams all the way to wherever Tenn ends up. (despite losses Tenn style still hard to face)

Even the best teams are flawed, or have a weakness or bad tendency. The winners of the Top10 matchups have hinged on good shooting from winners, and long cold spells for losers.(no rocket science here)

If UConn shoots well and defends at potential, we can compete with all. Shooting does not have to even be crazy; 45/35/75 has been enough to win in these top 10 games.

Go Huskies!

UConn really pissed off South Carolina, woke them up. They've been hammering everybody ever since. Given the way they play defense when they are focused, they are really going to be hard for anyone to beat.
Just like the Tennessee loss woke us up. I think most of the top teams are rounding into form. I believe the NC will be one of: UConn, SC, UCLA, or USC.

I think Texas is too inconsistent. I think ND has really fallen off. TCU doesn't have enough guns. Same for NC State. Duke doesn't have enough consistent offense. LSU just feels on the outside looking in.

Of course anything is possible in a one and done game. But that's just how I see it entering the tourney...

Rebounding (and boxing out) will be so important for UConn against all of their possible opponents. The team is doing a good job there- and Sarah, as with every other part of her game, is magnificent at getting boards. Ash, Paige, and Jana too are all good at snagging rebounds.

Yo, let's all settle down. One game at a time please. There are some very, very good teams out there.

Any fresh news on Griffin being available for all 6 games?

Hold her off for first couple?
