UConn's best Olympic moments involve women's basketball
I'm pretty sure the USA's national field hockey team has had a number of UConn players on it, as well. Melissa Gonzalez is currently in London with the National Team, another UConn player is with the U21 National team and a third is with the USA Developmental team. Hmm, if you look at the roster for the field hockey Olympic team, there's a distinct Northeastern flavor.
