Entitlement is expecting a title every year. We want the team to be relevant every year and to uphold the legacy of true Huskies like Ray Allen, Kemba, and RIP Hamilton with pride. That is what I expect and we haven't had a lot of either in recent years, excluding the magical ride last season (Thank you, Kemba!).

Maybe because I didn't follow the game on here, I don't have a problem with how the kids played. The problem wasn't in hustle as much as it was game planning. It was a mistake to put Drummond/Oriakhi on White. Calhoun probably thought if he put Roscoe on White, White would go to the post like he did against Giffey and simply overpower him. That allowed ISU to get open shots when Drummond/Oriakhi were switched to a shooter or beat off the dribble by Royce. It was a mistake more than anything else that cost UConn the game.

Ucon isn't Duke UNC UK or KU in my opinion. Maybe we will get there some day. There is a major difference in recruiting with those programs. We get great kids and JC usually maximizes there potential but if you look on a list of most McDonald's All Americans you will find those 4 at the top and UConn nowhere near it.

We had a young team that couldn't figure "it" out this year. That does not mean next year they won't be right back to the level of those 4 teams you mentioned but for us to expect to a "blue blood" we have more work to be done.

100% right. I love this team. I have since Dom Perno was the friggin' coach and Earl Kelley was our star player. Our biggest victory back then was beating the Hall and getting out of the 8/9 game. The last 30 years or so has been a dream. 3 National Championships and God knows how many Sweet 16s later, and everyone seems to expect victories in the tourney.

I'm disappointed as hell because I always want to win it all. But I'm tired of the 60 threads muther%^cking our players one by one. To those "Husky fans" out there that have forgotten that these are 18 and 19 year olds playing in front of millions of viewers and capable of making mistakes, grow up...

Didn't UNC miss the tourney the year after they won it?
I think we all agree this season didn't go as planned. let's not start questioning the program and the 'has Calhoun lost the ability to coach' threads.

We've still got Calhoun, 3 National Championships, and a boatload of talent returning next year. "We're safe as kittens"...
