Wisconsin lost because Hayes insists on dominating the ball at times and a guy who shoots 60% from the line is a liability in a close game - I think he missed four or five free throws in overtime alone.

And then a guy who can jump, but can't score, finds himself all alone on a breakaway and he panics long enough to let the least athletic person in the world block his layup. And then that same guy plays revolving door defense because he's still thinking about the pasty white nightmare that just erased his shot.

That was an awful game with maybe 90 seconds of competence and three seconds of actual excitement.

Alright champ. Enough of the snarky hot take machine for one night. Go to bed.

P.S. Go find a Spurs board to spit your fiya 1-linahs if basketball needs to be a flawless technical masterpiece in order for you to enjoy it. I'm baffled that this is your take on one of the most exciting and improbable game endings/OT in recent tourney history.

Who should Wisconsin go to? Hayes and Happ are their two best players and Happ is an even worse ft shooter than Hayes. Koenig was playing on one leg.

It will be Gonzaga to win it all in all likelihood.

$$$$$$$$$:):):)

Jmho

This years guards were the upgrade needed to get them to the promised land. 80/1...

No guarantee but looks like a decent shot. All in fun. Kinda. Lol

Fell asleep about halfway through the late games (these schedule times are not kind to people who get up 5am for work) and and of course I miss the best finish of the tourney while all the early games are duds.

Tough getting older.

Besides the fact that the reason Hayes kept getting the ball was UF was switching and Hayes had a huge mismatch

I would pay serious money to get kids like this man-beast here at UConn. Where do they keep finding them??

Dude is a monster. That no-look assist was pretty sweet too.

Not many teams, let alone mid-majors, can lose a big guy like Sabonis, who is starting for the OKC Thunder, and actually end up having a better-looking front court the next year.

Holy cow - 3/4 court shot gets waived off for Xavier. They needed that bad too.

2016/2017: Karnowski, Collins, Williams
2015/2016: Sabonis
2014/2015: Sabonis, Karnowski
2013/2014: Dower, Karnowski
2012/2013: Harris, Karnowski, Olynyk
2011/2012: Sacre, Harris
2010/2011: Sacre, Harris
2009/2010: Sacre
2008/2009: Heytvelt, Daye

The amount of production they've gotten out of their front court is just insane.

It's amazing the recruiting they have done going on, what, almost 20 years? They generally do not get the big name guys. Perkins and Matt Bouldin were big names but they have had mostly transfers and under the radar types. They have also brought in ridiculously good foriegn players. I'm really hoping They are able to bring the title home. Few is an outstanding coach and 'Zaga is an incredibly fun team to watch.
