To wrap the off-season: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

And we're off!!

Rodon is out until late April/early may.
Cole is out until June?

The Yankees have announced that they will retire CC Sabathia's #52, following his Hall of Fame enshrinement. I like CC and love the way he competed, but don't think of him as an all-time Yankee. Either way, congrats CC.

At least Giancarlo’s healthy. 😂

Sports on Netflix is weird, but love having CC on the call.
I decided against MLBTV this year bc the Yanks are on so many different apps throughout the season, I’m able to watch plenty of games even in PA.

Good start so far.

Nice to see Schlitter proving that last year wasn't a fluke. A rotation of Cole, Fried, Schlitter and Rodon doesn't suck.
Trade for Mr Livvy Dunne at the deadline and give him a 20 year contract.

No complaint with pulling your starter early it's a long season. However in the long run you can't rely on the pen going 4 innings all season long. I do wonder if there are more injuries to starters now because they haven't had a proper workload of consistantly going 6-7 innings.

Remember Stephen Strasburgh got shutdown in the playoffs because of he reached his innings limit, it did nothing to prolong his career.

And the infamous “Joba Rules”. How did that work out?

Exactly also Phil Hughes, Ian Kennedy you can argue babying pitchers leads to more injuries.

Yammamoto was trained to pitch every day in Japan.
