At least the Royals, with the exception of Moustakas, are a pretty likable team. (or likeable, if you prefer British English)
 
At the end of the day, if you told me all I would need is to win 3 straight games to win the World Series with Harvey, deGrom, Thor, I would've signed up for it. Go out there tonight and force the game back to KC and put all the pressure on them. I'm sure the idea of facing Thor again will make them feel like game 6 is a must win.
 
Wright and Conforto are off the snide. Time for the Latins to step up.
Cespedes and Zippo Ribbies Wilmer.

I get why Collins put Harvey back in, but Jesus. Just a guy punch again.
 
Defense has made the difference. Miscommunication/Cespdes missing the fly ball leading to the inside the park HR in game 1
Murphy blowing the ground ball last night leading to the rally

Not expecting much this half. Conforto then Flores then pinch for Familia

Which of course means Familia won't be pitching next inning. Not looking great.

Unlikely. Hosmer was far enough down the line that it would have taken a perfect tag from d'Arnuald for Duda to even have a sliver of a chance of throwing him out at home.

Haven't been following this thread, so this might becrepetive. I'm not usually a Met fan and I've been watching the WS off and on. Is Collins usually as bad a late inning pitching manager as the last two nights. Totally lousy managing that could end the series tonight instead of the Mets going of by a game. Last night leaves in a guy who had walked two in a row and tonight he gets talked into leaving his closer in the pen and, only a mildly crazy decision, but compounds it by leaving Harvey in beyond the first batter. You don't get sentimental in the WS.
