Honestly, you're very, very late - you should have started your panicking about a year ago.

Screaming and wailing is a given - I would also advise running in circles, waving your arms and discarding items of clothing at timed intervals. The elastic in your underwear, which should remain on 'til the last, makes it perfect for use as a hat.

Ideally, you'd be doing all this in public - just because you're panicking doesn't mean you can't aim for perfection. Style matters.

Let's light this rocket.

The big east is going to survive but they screwed the pooch when they decided to fight fire by adding more eventual kindling. The most likely thing is that UConn is going to be attached to this monstrosity for quite a while, so yeah panicking should have commenced a while ago. I'm partial(hehe get it) to running around in a circle as so:

I thought you were going to suggest we hang ourselves with the elastic in our underwear.

You know, this is a great time for conspiracy theorists: Mark Emmert (or E-Hole, thanks CL82) paid the ACC to not grant UConn an invite into the ACC so they will fall the way of the mid-major.

Last time Fishy started a post like this, it was about panicking about our basketball recruiting. It went something along the lines that now is not the time to panic about the state of our bball recruiting, that should have started years earlier. Well, that year men's bball went out and won the national championship.

I'm now expecting something great to happen to UConn athletics as a result of this thread.
