As I watched from the stands I couldn‘t tell how egregious the non-call was, but when I later watched it on you tube my sense was that Marion‘s actions led to the ref keeping the flag in his pocket. Instead of flailing and falling after being “interfered” he made those emphatic multiple “throw the flag“ motions toward the ref. We need to teach our receivers how to make friends and influence people not show them up and give them reason to avoid the obvious. On the other long pass to the end zone had our receiver climbed over the impeding defender there very well may have been another flag in our favor as well.
