For the record, KML is now 5'11", Morgan is a RS SO (just like Natalie), and the roster comprises two centers, three forwards and a whole mess of guards.

And while I am at it (my PC), be advised that all exterior work on the Champions Center seems to be complete. You may verify by accessing the construction cam, where you can watch the grass grow on the SW corner of the exterior. I guess phones and furniture and a fridgeload of food are all that remains on the punch list. Just a guess.

Ekmark wore #22. Edwards wore #14. Nurse wore #11. Williams wore #1 though (and we knew that wasn't gonna happen.) and some #33. Not sure why she went with #15? So yea, mostly they carried over.

Not sure why I looked but I noticed that there is an item missing from Kiah Stokes' bio. She earned second team All-AAC in 2013-14. I suspect the honor will pale when compared to her senior year accolades.

Don't tell me that security is that tight around the team, especially with CD in Turkey. Somewhere on the Boneyard there must at least be a student, a custodian, a security guard, a maintenance worker or a cub reporter for the campus newspaper who can spread a rumor or two.

1. Boneyarders have little interest in their facial resemblance. Only thing that really, really matters is (to use Russ's Q) "Can she play?" when on the court after the tip-off.

-Sorry I don’t see a reference on-line, so if you don't mind, I’ll try my best going from (what’s left of my) memory.

- I believe this has been discussed on Coach Auriemma’s show: Apparently Coach asked Dianna Taurasi what number she would like at UConn. She replied she would like ‘1.’ He (colorfully) told her that was a terrible answer. He explained assigning a number like ‘1’ or ‘0’ would be tantamount to merely using the Connecticut uniform to call attention to an individual, while the actual, sole purpose of that uniform was to serve her team. For this very same reason, there are no names of players on UConn team jerseys.

So to many fans, it’s become yet another part of what makes Connecticut Basketball different – in yet another good way.
