It’s LA Mick, what do you expect. LA is not a place to find hungry dogs that want the bone. That location is about 3,000 miles east and a little north of LA.

I am not a Cronin hater because he has had a fairly good career and let’s be honest it was always fun to watch him kind of implode when he played Calhoun’s team and we always found a way to beat him.

There were a few times back then that he looked so mad during the game that I thought he was just going to literally explode.

The issue is not Mick being a lunatic, it's Mick attacking the character of his players (who he recruited and coaches) and claiming that he doesn't have anything he needs to accomplish.

It’s is a lot more fun when you have a few old school nuts out there, brings you back to the days of unfiltered and authentic pressers, some personality to the sport. Too many times coaches go PC in today’s world, which is canned boredom. I'll take the elf, at least he's interesting.

But as far as he recruited the players, yup, he did. So he's responsible, and if he thinks this is the best way to motivate them we should judge by the results.

A coach who says "I have almost 500 wins so I don't need to do anything else" probably shouldn't be criticizing his players for being delusional.

I remember Jim Calhoun telling his players he cared more about winning then they do and criticizing them that they needed to have passion.
