The Last Sporting Event You Attended?

The Memphis game where Akok got hurt in late Feb.

UConn @ Nova Jan 2020
UConn @ Temple Feb 2020

I went to the Temple game as well (so long ago I thought it was before Nova) Whaley had a great game at Temple

Celtics-Lakers at TD in January 2020. I snagged the company suite/box at mid court. Best seats I’ve ever had to a sporting event. C’s got the W and I got to see LeBron play live. Great night!

Spring training game between the Yankees and Sox at JetBlue on February 29th, 2020. My last UConn event was the Michigan series at Port St. Lucie on February 21st thru 23rd where Hook C took 2 of 3. I think Men's hockey and basketball also won that weekend.

The basketball season started out well with road trip to Charleston but then terrible loss at USF.

I was supposed to have a business trip to Austin the week of the AAC basketball tournament so I was hoping to go to that at the last minute since the team was playing well. I was also planning a road trip to Ole Miss for the football game in October. All shut down. What disappointments.

The night Ray Allen was in Storrs getting an award. Maybe Arizona? Was a heck of a good night.
Can't ever see going to any sporting event again, other than UConn basketball, if the mask mandate ever gets lifted.
Lost interest in all pro sports over the last 24 months.
I am with you on this.. My interest in MLB was at an all time low last season but probably due to the Sox having a terrible season. I hate the drama of the NBA with guys like Kyrie. The only pro sport that I am still interested in is the NFL. But I will give hockey a chance.

Boston University Indoor Last Chance Indoor Track Meet
February 27th-28th 2020

Remember that there were a few Chinese Athletes there too and COVID was just beginning to be talked about more here...

I was also in Port St Lucie that weekend and saw a bit of the UM/UConn game while also attending the Mets/Cardinals game on 2/23.

Pre Covid the last games I attended were UConn/UCF at XL on 2/26 and UConn/UMass at XL on 2/28.

Post Covid I was at The Travelers Tournament in June 2020 working (volunteering) as a shot link scorer on the 13th hole on both Saturday and Sunday.

Totally forgot about this! I was up there too doing the same job. I was on hole #10. Now that you mention it and thinking back, it was so nice to be outside doing something after those initial months.

Last one was a New Britain's Bees game in July. 25% capacity, didn't know that team existed until a couple days before and it was just an excuse to drink some beers outside.

Last one when the world was normal was the Houston game at Gampel. I was already thankful to be able to go as I had to get out of a work thing last minute. But then the fact that the world would fall apart about a week later, and then it ended up being a thrilling game with the best atmosphere for a uconn game in a long time (there were other great atmospheres last year too but this one was the best), plus CV's speech at the end made it so much more memorable.
