Tell me why then do Stef and Breanna wind up in the same place so often and Breanna has to get out of Stef's way? That's not the way it's supposed to be run. They're not supposed to be that close together. Also, Geno has admitted to making mistakes. He's not perfect.
Because Breanna does not always understand and know where she should be in the flow of the motion offense and is still learning. You'll note who Geno pulls most often Geno pulls if that happens. It is not Stef.Tell me why then do Stef and Breanna wind up in the same place so often and Breanna has to get out of Stef's way? That's not the way it's supposed to be run. First, I'm pretty sure that the offense was not designed to put two players within 3 feet of each other in the post. The nagging problem for post players is complimenting each other as opposed to being in each other's way. Couple that with the fact you have a talented frosh who has never had to worry about complimenting an equal post and a talented junior who for much of last season was free to roam due to a guard oriented 4 out spread offense. You will probably not see smooth play at best until the end of the season. Additionally, you have the guards adapting to a clogged lane and lack of slashing opportunities. It is hard to turn on and off but they are working on it.

Thank you attaboy and Icebear. That's all I was saying. It's not being run properly. Hopefully by the end of they year they'll get it straightened out. And yes, Breanna is the one Geno pulls.

Seems to be an abundance of armchair experts around here, lately. Basketball experts, medical experts, psychologists: and they all seem to think that they see or know something obvious that the professionals actually charged with running the program are too ignorant or close-minded, or soft, to recognize.
Sounds like "Fox News Syndrome" has penetrated the Boneyard.
