Nothing cringeworthy after how we started out in the AAC and needed to go toe-to-toe with one of the more successful programs in our own conference in perception.

Now if we could win some games against Cincinnati...
 
It was probably super tongue-in-cheek, half making fun of Diaco for hyping the gane.

It's great to have fun, and they should. But that was just stupid. They're an 0-6 team. It made our program look kind of pathetic.

It's like rushing the court if the basketball team beats Tulsa because they were good last year

Not at all. Goofy? Maybe. Overzealous? Perhaps. Pathetic? No.
We're a program on the rise.

We've got a young, uber-enthusiastic coach. We've got a bunch of players who he has infectiously motivated to be excited. About what? WHO THE H-LL CARES? Would you prefer stoic resignation at being mediocre this year?

What the h-ll is wrong with some of our fans? We held them to 3 points - at home. Lowest of the season for them. We're legitimately improved from last year. We're strongly moving in the right direction. If you can't, in the excitement of winning the 1st road game and the 1st conference game, be excited enough to enjoy some over-exhuberance in our player and coach, then take some Ex-Lax you, ironically, constipated party pooper.

Before your post gets 1000 likes YES. I'M HAPPY AND EXCITED ABOUT THE WIN. BUT WE SHOULD BE EXPECTING TO WIN AGAINST AN 0-5 TEAM NOT ACTING LIKE WE JUST WON THE CONFERENCE.
 
The players really seem to have bought into Diaco and everything he embodies. Yes, UCF is terrible, but a conference road win for us and a blow out at that, is rare.

Make no mistake, this was a big game for UConn and one that keeps alive our achievable goal of a bowl bid.

We have momentum, we have home field and we have an opponent we owe pay back to from last season in USF.

I like where we stand going into this game.

Let the kids celebrate, they deserve it.
 
I know there were going to be some miserable bastages who would be upset with this... and because USF scored against our second team defense... Instead of celebrating a road win... they've got to find something to be miserable about.

Really, pathetic? Sorry, but I think the team enjoyed the win....and ask Bob if he thought the team shouldn't have dumped the Gatorade on him. Yes, UCF is 0-6, but I wouldn't have cared if the win was against Ohio State, New Haven or E.O. Smith - it was a win on the road.
