Never pictured a Ferrari with a set shot, but I'll take it. I'd love to see him get some dunks.

He's doing positive things for the offense. For once I'm not complaining.

He is healthy.
Thank you - infuriating how quick to judge everyone was when he had a bum ankle and was getting into the swing of things again!! As i posted the other day...

Purvis when healthy (4 games - CofC, Dayton, Coppin St, Dook): 11 PPG, 43% from the field, 38% from 3. He's explosive and can get to the rim. He's still getting back into game shape (which is TOTALLY different from practice shape and you know this if you ever played any basketball) so just give the man some time. Yes he turns it over 3-4 times a game but I can live with that if he is being aggressive, attacking, and looking for his shot. He needs to be our 3rd scoring option and he will be. He wont be a "ferarri" but he will be our guy to get us 10ppg.

Good to see him in action! If we played this well against Yale, we would've won by 20.

I think he read my post from last week and I shamed him into playing his best.
Also your post helped his injury heal. It's the only explanation.

So he scores 21 points on 7-8 shooting and you're "not complaining"? How generous!

Ha ha, I'm on a heavy dose of painkillers right now so I had a very muted reaction to much of what went on tonight. Damn good game he had.

Would like to see him drive a bit more. He looks like he can get by his man any time he wants. Great game for purv.

Congrats to everyone who spoke in absolutes about his inefficiency after the Duke game!

Maybe because he was absolutely inefficient in the Duke game?

Good to see some shots go down for him. We need him.

The first thing that Ollie did that I didn't like is use the word "Ferrari" to describe this kid, because now I have to endure bad Ferrari/good Ferrari references every time the kid's performance changes. "Looks like a flat on the Ferrari today." "Ferrari running on high octane today." Ug.
