The Dregs of the AAC

We beat them by 24 last month. They are not good, even at home they are 3 and 7.

They are 2-10 and not having a good year at all….."Dreg" they are not, not Temple. Be careful is all I can say…...
There is a distinction between teams that are having awful seasons, and Temple certainly qualifies, and teams that are the dregs of college basketball. When you look at teams like Houston who hasn't been any good since the Reagan Administration, that is a whole different catagory of dregs. Or South Florida which has had 1 pretty good season in its history. Or Rutgers, which hasn't had a decent team since Nixon, and is in New Jersey to boot. Temple isn't one of those kind of programs.

Temple is certainty a very solid basketball program with a great history, they are just a bad team this year.

Oh and I was wrong there is one team that is rated worse defensively from a power conference, just one, Boston College checking it at 324 out of 351 schools

Go STANGS!

Yeah I just saw the SMU cheer squad and there were some tall guys running around on the court.

Honestly ... part of the definition of a DREG should be that they have no attendance and no fanbase. No one cares. Temple has a really lively energetic crowd. All in their colors. We (UCONN) haven't ever really had the type of season they're having (and it is noteworthy because they also have a step-up in competition) and the Roster is a clear ding on Dunphy and/or the AD as they entered to play this league. I expect the one year performance will not be a predictor of future performance.
I'm with you Pudge.

More to the point: if Temple is truly a dreg of this conference the conference is stronger than anything we've ever seen.
