?The Downfall of Louisville?

I wouldn't condone this for UConn, but the bottom line is this will all wash over and they'll still be in the ACC.
The one battle we could not afford to lose. Likely nothing to do with football perception and everything to do with suitcases full of cash.

I'm laughing about the Pitino predictions. If he doesn't coach he will be a big time tv analyst in a year or less. He simply claims he doesn't know what happened and truthfully he would never want to know any of this so technically he's clean. If your brother who lives under the same roof as you commits murder do you go to jail?
If he doesn't coach again it will only be because he doesn't want to. The list of disgraced former basketball coaches who have gone on to coach again is already pretty intriguing.

Some Louisville fans are questioning whether they'll be Temple'd.

Is this going to be a turning point for the school and it is actually going to be a school? Is that even possible?? UL fans tried to sue the woman who was the head escort because they're saying she devalued their degrees into uselessness?? Horrible mess. Grand Canyon U sounds like a better option right now.

Garbage academic school, pimped their way into a conference that supposedly (used to) pride itself on academics, and now today. Karma.

All this is horrible for the sport that many of us love & grew up watching, but no tears shed at all here. This was all self-inflicted by their own corrupt system.

Let's be careful with the schadenfreude. After all, our coach made a lot of phone calls.
agreed...'there but for the grace of God go us...' what we don't know, we don't know but you never hope you get caught up in things like this..

This is a full admission of guilt by the university. Next up, Death Penalty.

When FBI has you dead to rights, might as well submit a guilty plea.

On death penalty: It's on the table, but we'll see what precedent NCAA wants to set.

Given how the NCAA takes years to finalize investigations, I doubt they do anything anytime soon

In this case, once FBI concludes and submits findings to courts, there won't be much need for NCAA to actually do any investigating, will just come down to levying penalty and then the appeals (which do take forever).

There must be a hell-hole of incriminating evidence which was supplied to the school. According to the FBI reports, there was also an "abundance" of additional actions discovered during the course of this investigation.

Football and WBB could be on the list

Travis RagsdaleBoxes and bags going into trunk of black Lexus at practice facility. Need the video or it didn't happen - LOL
Even removing personal items, the Trickster makes a poor student assistant do his dirty work. Even with phone records and emails already in hand, ... hours until the FBI's confiscating Louisville and all coaches' own computers, phones, etc.?

Edit: Hah, not even hours:

Mike Lacett‏ @mikelacett Just saw an unmarked police car roll up to Yum. Guy came out of building with desk top computer than leave

I'd put the odds at zero percent, give or take nothing.

The show cause alone might outlive him.

If he ever gets another job, it will be at one of those crazy bible colleges and even that's not likely given his history in Italian restaurants.
I hear St. Joe's in Hartford is looking. Just saying.
