Uconn is a lean, mean driving machine. We have coalesced into this unstoppable entity. GENO and CHRIS have done a remarkable job in this transformation... I still remember Dawn's face while the game was going on in Feb. It was definitely a look of defeat. I want to see that one more time!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!UConn has been firing on all cylinders
she looked good in shootaround tomorrow.Aubrey on a no minutes restriction would be great not saying she should get crazy minutes, looked very good the last 2 games.
And you know this how exactly?she looked good in shootaround tomorrow.
I would love to see Aubrey matched up against Fulwiley.Aubrey on a no minutes restriction would be great not saying she should get crazy minutes, looked very good the last 2 games.
I'm along for the ride, would love another look at the Dawn look of dread. Here's hoping.Uconn is a lean, mean driving machine. We have coalesced into this unstoppable entity. What I've always wondered (for over 20+ years) is why you feel like your lone opinions always deserve their own thread. Optimism and radicalism are two very different things. I remember you predicting a 20+ point blowout for our Huskies during Griner's junior year on the ESPN boards and we got demolished by almost or more than that exact total. Yes, UConn was firing on all cylinders last game versus UCLA. I was so happy to see Azzi looking like the Azzi we all know she can and should've been had injury not unfortunately reared its ugly head. I'm not shocked Paige's interview with Holly Rowe at the end of the game showed none of the braggadocio that you seem to always exhibit and live vicariously through. Quit giving us non-vocal fans a bad name.UConn has been firing on all cylinders
They've been playing to win, and not to lose since the SC game.Uconn is now a confident team. The big win at South Carolina changed this team from "We think we can" to "We can and we will". It was also a transtion point for Paige, IMO. This also looks to like the best coached team we've ever had. Win today, and we become the team that others try to emulate. We've also got more athletic muscle than in the past. The future looks great too.
I don't know, Chax, but there is a big difference between Paige Bueckers, who is a warrior in the arena and who has to live in the competitive community with these same players that she beats in games and the players and support system around her that help her be able to do what she does, and Tonyc, who is a fan. Tonyc doesn't have to be humble; he is guilty of simply being an emotionally invested fan like most of us. Most new threads on this board begin with opinions. Tony is entitled to his opinion; you can agree or disagree. I do not see any reason to make it personal. For what it is worth, Tonyc has been on this board for over 30 years. No one's opinion is infallible. This is no more apparent than if you read the Prognosticators' thread. There are 40 or 50 opinions on each game, and only a few receive points for being correct or nearly correct. I only received points on that thread once this season. I was wrong many times, like over 30 times this season alone. I value all our fans nd their opinions. I value our team, how they play, and the satisfaction I get from watching them. What I've always wondered (for over 20+ years) is why you feel like your lone opinions always deserve their own thread. Geno stepped up the game planning. Game by game. No opponent had a chance ever.UConn has been firing on all cylinders

Very well said, Sensei. I think I like TonyC's posts BECAUSE of his optimism. It helps to balance me if I get a bit pessimistic...I don't know, Chax, but there is a big difference between Paige Bueckers, who is a warrior in the arena and who has to live in the competitive community with these same players that she beats in games and the players and support system around her that help her be able to do what she does, and Tonyc, who is a fan.
