Scoe Big East Player of The Year next year. Reminds me of Kemba after sophomore year when the
Stanley Dyson team didn't even make the tourny of the leader he will be. Unless Calhoun does something dumb like he did this year you all will see the emergence of Roscoe as the team leader able to carry the team possibly all the way. All Calhoun has do is hand Scoe the keys. Nothing else or else the curse of the Scoe will turn into the curse of the Bambino.

By the way Kidd-Gilchrist got nothing on Scoe, and would make him look like the bum that he is.

Just hang Scoe's jersey on the rafters after all you Roscoe haters out there witness the miracles of 2012-2013 run. You heard it here first, remember this day, this hour, and this post next year.

I love the goofy bastard, by I don't see it. That said, if he can really clean up his jumpshot he could be one hell of a swingman.

What? I like Roscoe, but the Kemba situation rarely happens. Lightning will not strike twice.

Only if Oriakhi transfers and Scoe plays 30 minutes at the four.

even if oriakhi stays Roscoe for sure will start next year doesnt matter at the 3 or 4. Scoe better be named the undisputed captain of this team next year because it will be a huge travesty if he isnt. Scoe is a leader and will make a big jump this offseason and he will be really good next year.

He needs to learn to dribble the ball, add about 10 pounds and be more consistent with his jumpshot. He does all that and he could be a very good player. Defensively he is great and he is decent on the boards. Ohh he also needs to realize when he has enough time to dribble the ball for a better than half-court shot.

these types of comments wont get us anywhere

Where are you trying to get to???

Scoe didn't start for much of the year, then he essentially won the position by default. And at the end produced the way he was expected to. You are basing your conclusion on that???

Your entire post is ridiculous, i think Boat has a better chance of emerging next year than Roscoe(Roscoe is gonna be good though)

"By the way Kidd-Gilchrist got nothing on Scoe, and would make him look like the bum that he is." This sentence made me laugh, simply because it does not mean what you think it does

My entire post is entertaining while showing my obvious faith in Roscoe and his skills. If Napier comes back next year then Boat will play second fiddle like this year and that will unfortunately make him a second option to Napier. The 2 little guard lineup that Calhoun uses rarely works and I do not want to see that next year for more than 10 minutes a game.

I said remember this day, this hour, and this post because Roscoe will surprise all of you guys next year. Roscoe did not win the position by default either, he should have started from day 1 but Calhoun foolishly benched him in favor of Daniels hurting Roscoes confidence and making him expendable as Calhoun thought he didnt need him early on. Only later on when Calhoun realized that Daniels was abysmal did he have no choice but to play Roscoe.

Scoe should be able to (and can, IMO) coming off the bench. He has showed the ability to do whatever is asked of him. Daniels played poorly and his confidence dropped, playing a large part in his struggles this year. Is it at all possible that Calhoun thought that Daniels could use the confidence boost from starting more than Scoe could? I guess not. You're probably right.

And this isn't me saying I know more than you. This is me saying I trust Calhoun more than I trust you or anyone else on this board, including myself.

Boat will average more PPG next year than Roscoe, you can remember the second, minute, hour and week this was posted:)

Ricky Moore: 6'2
El-Amin: 5'11

Ben Gordon: 6'1-6'2
Taliek Brown: 6'0

AJ Price: 6'0
Dyson: 6'3
Austrie (NCAAT starter): 6'1
Kemba: 6'0 was the backup

Kemba: 6'0
Bazz : 6'0 (didn't start but played 24 minutes a game, Kemba played almost 38, so there were at least 22 minutes a game they were on the floor together on average)

I'd like to think there is something about these lineups that is similar, but I just can't put my finger on it...I know, they all went to the final four/won a NC.

i like the fact that you showed due diligence and looked this stuff up but what your forgetting to mention is that those teams had dominant big men who could score, rebound, and defend which is why you can get away with two little guard and a Lamb at the 3. If we had big men that could score and dominate in the post then it wouldnt matter what height our guards were which is why I said we needed to go big this year but good effort. Also ,those teams had leaders as guards like Kemba, like AJ Price, like Ben Gordon who could rally a team and also score buckets when the team needed them to.

Dont take everything so literally I just like to mess with the Roscoe haters on this forum but I do have a good feeling about Scoe stepping up next year. Roscoe is the heart and soul of this team and any one with some basketball iq would realize this. He should and better be captain of this team next year, and he will have a big jump in his game next year.
