The Boneyard Classic Golf Tournament Revisited

Anyone else still have golf balls from The Boneyard Classic? I'm cleaning stuff out. Those were some fun tournaments.

I have a bunch. I think I posted a pic with them over the summer. I'm sure there are plenty more the woods and ponds of Quarry Ridge.

I mostly have just great memories from Stanley and Quarry on having some fun golf, good laughs and meeting some great people, I’ll leave the many different details of each, for those who survived these outings lol. Good ol days, who’s going to revive this Classic get together? 🤔

These days someone could organize it and turn it into an NIL event, so a player or two might attend. They'd have to get used to players shenanigans. The canons on the course might not go over well. I stopped eating marshmallows after the Boneyard tournament.

I don't think anyone from UConn should be anywhere close to being associated with this.

We fell for the marshmallow on the green once…pretty funny. Good times…I’d love to see it return.

Today and with thoughts of snow tomorrow I am thinking let's golf in a warm place like Hawaii or Florida but since we won't be doing this until ~Summer let's have some fun where we can. Anywhere from CT to NC seems doable depending on the week.

I’d be willing to set something up this year but more of an outing, no teams, no prizes. Just golf with whoever you want and maybe something in the clubhouse for a buffet after.
