Had the day of my life. Had 50.00 on Dornoch to win and had a spot right in back of the winners circle gate. Was high fiving Jayson Werth and the folks in with him. I’m in a bunch of the winners circles photos. At one point when Saez was getting interviewed I grabbed a handful of flower petals and threw them like confetti. Not sure if that got on the broadcast or not.

I watched Dornoch lose the Jim Dandy to Seize the Gray last summer and thought he just fell short and liked the track. Was shocked the line never came down and went off at 17/1.

My brother in law is part owner of Seize the Grey. So I have to go with The Preakness winner. My wife and her brother are at Saratoga today. They left Bristol at 6AM. Long day.

I’ve now seen that horse twice at Saratoga and estimate that horse has at least 250 owners. Everyone is wearing a hat and mentioned they own part of it. Do you know how many people actually are “owners”?

He's 100% owned by MyRacehorse and the 2,570 unique individuals that bought the 5,000 shares allotted for purchase, which sold out in a month.

Thousands. You can go to their site and see what horses they’re selling shares in - basically, you spend 80-150 and you get 0.01% of a racehorse. I bought one a few years back named “Going to Vegas.” Was actually a pretty good horse, but they never brought it to NY.

I think that was just a maiden race that Seize the Grey and Dornoch were in last summer.

I have 1.25% of a horse. The horse wins a maiden special in a romp but is now on the shelf after a "setback" in training. Tough game.

Yep... I don't know how many shares he bought, but his cut was $500 when the horse won the Preakness.

You’re right.

I drink a lot at these races.
