Is OSU and UM and that's it. The rest of the teams don't belong on the same field in any big time bowl games. OSU should have been the Rose Bowl selection. Iowa and MSU are embarrassments to the conference. They also have single handily ruined the TV ratings of two normally huge viewer draws. Delaney needs UConn more than he thinks.

Nos I think Tim Brando may have been on to something with his tweets on having the games today or on Sunday. It was interesting however that he basically came out and said that the Rose Bowl has a ton of power to get the CFPO committee to let them keep the time slot today. They could have easily put one game on in the Fiesta Bowl time slot today and one on at 8 tonight.

If we ever get an insane fanbase developed here, the sky is the limit in football. And as it is, UConn is emphasizing football. They don't want to be Indiana.

Actually J, I was kidding just a bit there, but there's no reason we can't become as competitive as any team in the B1G not named OSU or UM in a matter of just a few years.

Wisconsin and MSU are a notch below but are very good programs. After that it drops off. Iowa had an easy road this year. That isn't a 12 win team.

Put those games on today instead of NYE and I'm sure the ratings would shoot right back up.

Kinda preposterous considering just last year Michigan State won the Fiesta bowl over Baylor.

B1G notched W's over USC, UCLA, Florida, and Notre Dame this bowl season. Penn State has a chance to take down Georgia tomorrow. They're doing fine.

I'd settle for Wisconsin good. That's not 2-3 years away.

It's true that Iowa wasn't the same 12 win team that say, Alabama or Florida were in their undefeated seasons in the SEC, but there's no way that you can argue that MSU or Iowa are any less valuable than UConn--and that's coming from a die hard UConn fan. They're both top 20 athletic revenue schools (UConn 44th) per USA Today. Further, just writing off MSU is ridiculous. All they've done is average about 11 wins over the past several years in which they've reached a college football playoff semifinal, cotton bowl (W) and rose bowl (W). But sure, Delany should probably just give MSU the boot and send them to FCS.

We haven't proved diddly poo on the football field and some of you feel like we have a sense of entitlement, due to finances, to a P5 conference.
Fact of the matter, we gotta perform on the field of play, be an attractive program, in order to get that P5 love that we might believe we deserve..

Since we've been at the FBS level (about 15 years , now, right?) we've been labeled "boring".. boring boring boring... we gotta get rid of the "boring" label somehow, some way...

I like the culture Diaco has brought to our program, but, culturally, was that really an issue in terms of how are coaches (FBS level) prepared the student athletes? Don't think so. We gotta take yet that next step in recruiting... We're hurting in the trenches... Take a look at Maryland. yeah, they're B1G and all, but just seeing them scoop up to of the top OL in the country this late in the recruiting year speaks volumes.. While we continue to scrape the bottom of the barrel, in hopes of turning a kid with upside into an NFL talent.

Hopefully, in 2016, the 'boring' label on our program starts to dissipate.

If the things you are posting are important, then how did Rutgers get in the B10?
