Number 1 in sight works wonders for crowd energy. The energy in Auburn right now is arguably the best I've seen since the pandemic. Awesome to see. Go Auburn!
The win over Marquette is looking very good now as well. Our Body of work is Auburn and only Auburn. That's not simplifying much. It's already simple. Great win. But that's it. I'd feel much better if our body of work included one , just one, of Providence, WVU, MSU, Seton Hall. Give me one of them. Because those are all games that would look good on a resume. The more we throw games like that in the toilet (and that's exactly what we do) the harder this gets going forward. Do you want to count on beating Nova? Even Xavier? Because we pissed away our realistic opportunities at solidifying an actual body of work some of those games will turn into must wins when they needn't have.
Yup its simple. Auburn is our body of work and only Auburn. That and a dime will get you................................................
We’re a good basketball team
Seton Hall was arguably a better offensive game.Yes but we haven’t approached another offensive game that good since. Would like to see that offense show up a few times soon.
Seton Hall was arguably a better offensive game.
14/23 in the SHU gameBetter than most for sure I agree but Auburn was the best yet. 15-26 from 3 won’t be easy to duplicate.
I love when people make easily falsifiable claims and are called out on it. No offense @mauconnfan, but you got caught, at least as far as 3-point shooting goes. The SHU game featured more 3-pointers per minute, shot at a higher percentage, compared to the Auburn game.14/23 in the SHU game
Seton Hall and Auburn were two great games this year, really entertaining.Seton Hall was arguably a better offensive game.
Slightly worse in Adjusted Offensive Rating and Points Per Possession, but very closeSeton Hall was arguably a better offensive game.

Now, you could still argue UConn's offense was better in the Auburn game, because they scored more points per minute. I'd even agree with that argument. However, you chose to use 3-point shooting as the crux of your argument, and the numbers don't back that up.
Sadly I don’t think either are going to win the A-10. Davidson looks unbeatable in that conference at the moment. 15 wins in a row.VCU has 5 losses already. Bonnie’s 3.
It’s tough to imagine those are significant wins in the end. I’m not looking for A10 wins to prop us up unless those teams do much better than they have. Best we can say is they don’t hurt at least. I guess that’s good
All these other teams also have film and can game plan for Jabari Smith. We had no idea lolFor the “bUt AuBuRn wAs WiThOuT FaNIgAn “ crowd. Fanigan is a turnover machine and is averaging under 8 points per game. I don’t think it made that much of a difference.
They played a few games, so we saw something lol.All these other teams also have film and can game plan for Jabari Smith. We had no idea lol
From 1-10, how tickled are you at this point?Id be tickled with that result.
8. give me a road win tomorrow and then we can raise that to a 9/10 tickle factor. From 1-10, how tickled are you at this point?
It's a road loss to a top 100 team, it's nowhere near bad. That West Virginia loss is looking pretty bad. Losers of 6 straight, dead last in the B-12
And Sanogo was out for that game. We've already seen a bunch of times that the offense has suffered most of the time when he hasn't played. They scored 53 points that game but only gave up 56. If the Huskies played them today it would be a blowout. It's a road loss to a top 100 team, it's nowhere near bad.
Lmao it's a Q1 loss. That West Virginia loss is looking pretty bad. Losers of 6 straight, dead last in the B-12
Without Sanago and Martin as well. It's a road loss to a top 100 team, it's nowhere near bad.
