It's his second new contract in as many years (and yes he's only been there two years, it's his third deal with them, they ripped it up mid-season last year to hold onto him, just as they did this year)... if he gets Indiana to the playoffs back-to-back, they're paying market rate (Indiana's schedule the rest of the way is not super challenging.. especially if Penn State continues reeling, suddenly hot UCLA may be their toughest game left). Keep in mind his 17 wins in the last season and a half are more than they had the previous four seasons combined (which included a bowl appearance in 2020).I'm also beginning to think they may have been a bit hasty with Cignetti's new contract
Between Auburn, Florida, Penn State, UCLA there is no doubt that someone would've backed up the truck to pay at least that for him.
