Yesterday's results. Buffalo's last 3 games are on Tues 11/12, Wed 11/20, and Tues 11/26, and I'm like ¯\(ツ)/¯ then realized it's considered this week's game, so I'll update tomorrow when new rankings come out

Last week UConn was #70 in the cbs sports rankings which updates late Monday morning. Now at 7-3 UConn is looking to move up again as the lowest ranked team with 7 wins. I want to see UConn at least #67 or even higher. That would put them in the 50th percentile. Quite remarkable given the past few seasons.

7 wins. Teams with 7 wins ranked ahead of UConn outside the Top 25. All won their last game.

27 8-2 Tulane
28 7-2 UNLV
30 7-2 Missouri
32 7-2 Arizona State
35 8-1 Louisiana
36 7-3 Duke
41 7-2 Navy
44 8-2 Memphis
46 7-2 James Madison
54 7-2 W. Kentucky
56 7-2 What in Sam Houston (bye last week)
70 7-3 UConn

Truthfully, I’m not sure we can or should move much higher with the schedule we’ve had. Now, if we take out Syracuse, then we will see movement I bet into the high 40s low 50s.

I agree. Our schedule was not difficult. We need to beat Syracuse handily in order to gain respect and the only way this will happen is if Joe starts at QB. Hopefully, Mora realizes this.

Wherever we land is a lifetime away from where we were 2-3 years ago. I wanted to vomit after the 2021 holy cross loss.
Not saying i'm satisfied, just super super thankful to feel like this team deserves to be called an FBS team.

you can't ignore the losses we've already taken... it'll be in the 65-75 range if we beat 'Cuse

Yep, as someone who has never missed watching a game since 2012, I have stomached my way through some absolutely soul-crushingly bad games/seasons. This season is actually bringing me some joy. There is still a lot of work ahead but at least I can feel some pride in our football team again.

Landed at 64, better than expected. Nice neighborhood to be in

I hope DB sends this list to all the no votes with the Big 12 schools behind us circled
The scheduling gods smiled upon UConn this season when looking at post 57 and our opponents. The Wake game would have been a big plus. Wins mean more than schedule sometimes.

DB & HCJM: "So Brett says to us he says, 'Look, you guys are in. You're in. Basketball, NYC, MSG. You just gotta win some football games.' So we says to him we says, 'OK, give us a coupla months and we'll call you back. But don't go cheap on us!'"

This makes Syracuse one of the most important games we've played in years. Beat them and we likely finish 9-3 heading to our Bowl Game. Currently we're ranked ahead of name brands Florida, Utah, UCLA, Houston, UCF, and Kansas.
At 9-3 we'll be ranked above a lot more--and then the atmosphere around UConn gets a big jolt of oxygen. Mora knows it and will factor it heavily into his final choice at QB for the game. Feelings be damned. We need this win.

Saragin has us at #99. Syracuse is rated as #62. On the point scale SU is 9 points better than us. Add 3 for home field and we are a double digit dog.

I have watched a little SU this year and they are sloppy. Not as sloppy as us. But if we play a somewhat clean game we will have our chances.
