Yup. The next Summer games are planned to be held from 24 July to 9 August 2020 in Tokyo. In spite of everything swirling around them, from frightful costs for the host cities/countries to getting some sort of handle on drugging, I still think way too many countries and corporations have a vested interest in keeping it going. The ocean liner may sink under its own weight eventually, but I don't think that's happening quite yet.

But I'm first excited about The FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup (aka, Basketball World Championship for Women or the FIBA Women's World Cup)
taking place in -- I believe -- in Sept./October of 2018 in Spain.
