I will be. Because I think the winner of the competition will have a better line and receivers than last year's QB's. It will be up him to perform in games and if he does the name on the back won't matter.
Me too. Actually if we get decent quarterback play, I for one won’t give a darn if it was the result of fair competition, unfair competition, serendipity or Mora was told who to play be a psychic from downtown Wilimantic. And I’m guessing most fans will be in that position. If we get great play, everyone will feel that way. Well, except pal who will say the backup is better.

I love that a few guys went to one practice and are arguing over who should start at qb. Love preseason.

Ahh downtown Willimantic, The Shaboo Inn ..... Hundreds of psychic's still around that were stoned and would just say "let the good times roll". Be it by BB King or James Cotton...
This has to play out in the fall as nothing was obvious in the bone toss of Fridays field day / evening. ;)

There's more than one way to get to the wrong answer.
Lord knows that’s true, but after all the goodwill, promise and hope that Mora and Charlton represent, when the offense takes the field at Utah State, whichever QB is sent out there must be the right answer. Because, despite how daunting the road ahead may be and the need for all of us to check our expectations at the door, for the players, the coaches and the program, we don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.

And the team and fanbase cannot handle another Fresno St opener. Hope we at least bring the right cleats for this game.

Ouch. Best of luck to Steven Krajewski. I was hoping he would stay and compete for the job but totally understandable that he decided to look for a fresh start.

Right now our QB position is as wide open as it has ever been. Personally I am hoping that Tyler Phommachanh heals quickly.

At least it looks like we have at least 4 good options to pick from. Better group to pick from than I can remember since I've been following Husky football in the 90's.

A little stunned by this even though we have Puma & the other guys competing at QB. Best of luck to him to wherever he goes.

This is nothing but a positive for the program. After spring the coaches probably sat Steven down and told him for their style system it probably wasn’t the best fit, and that between what’s in house and what’s coming in it may be in his best interests to go somewhere that fits his abilities.

The fact he thanked the current staff, and not Edsall, shows me there was full transparency and everyone looking out for what was in the best interest of the kid.

I think it’s a win on both ends, and also shows positive signs that the staff sees someone capable of starting they’ve already identified.

It’s a bummer to see Steven K leave because was hoping to see how he developed but I guess looking back at it, Tyler.P brought energy and excitement back to team at the QB position before getting hurt and I wonder if that’s why Noel Mazzone was brought in because no one on the previous staff could help draw up play designs for a dual threat qb for Tyler. Best of luck to Steven K wherever he ends up at.

Will we be looking for another 2022 QB?
By summer/fall camp they should have Drena, Phommachanh, Roberson, Millen and Zion Turner competing.

They have 8/9 QB offers out to 2023 kids before the summer high school/junior college camps start as well.

Any chance to know who is still left on the team from the recruiting class of 2018?

To understand the state of UConn football fandom and the lack of anything at the QB position on the team....................

The QB with the most snaps and games played on the roster just announced he is leaving and there are a grand total of 18 posts about over an 8-hour period. Apathy is thy name.
