Taurasi, you love her or hate her. There's no in between.

She'll be sorely missed in the W, and it's too bad she likely won't get the goodbye she deserves from the new fans especially, who've been downplaying her since the start of the season.

I don’t think she wants a farewell tour.

She's a type you love to hate. If she's on your team you love the swagger, attitude, incredible skills and talent, plus the presence she brings.

If you are the opponent, she's the one you love to see miss, get frustrated, lose their cool, and hate to see the ball in their hands if the game is on the line.

I'd say most actual basketball fans respect her talent and accomplishments and will admit you want her on your team even if you don't care for her (at least until the last couple of seasons). Until about five years ago, if I were a coach and needed a shot to win the game I'd have given the ball to D over any other player in the WNBA.

Diana's penchant to be snarky was not her friend when she offered her ungratious opinion on Caitlin Clark and did not have the grace to walk it back. I've loved everything about her career and then there was that.

I don't think her opinion on Caitlin Clark was "ungracious" at all. As I recall, she said it would take time for Clark to adjust to the level of play WNBA, but that she was a great player and would figure it out.

It's weird how intolerant the Caitlin Clark zealots are of anything short of her deification.
