Heard he's looking for a job. Other than the last couple years, he had a TON of success at Ohio State. And at Xavier before that. Worth a look.

Interesting. Didn’t he leave state because of health issues?

If what we're hearing is true and Ollie's poor work ethic is what got us into this mess, bringing in someone whose health problems may prevent them from fully committing to the required tasks makes no sense.

No.

The guy is physically a wreck and he just lost a job because he wasn’t physically able to keep up with it.

Why on earth would we hire him? To pad his retirement account for when his back goes out forever?

Larry Brown. He is a thousand years old but he is a wizard.

Wouldn't be terrible - but stills feels a bit like a retread. I'd lean toward something newer - like one of these former Pitino or Marshall assistants or Hurley - who have proven they can get a program turned around and humming.

Matta is only 50. He'd be like the 2nd youngest coach in the conference after Mick Cronin.
Do me a favor. I am turning 43. If I look like that at 50, shoot me. He has to be the oldest looking 50 year old in America.

Bah, fuse his spine and send him out there. The guy can coach and that's something that would be refreshing right about now.

Refreshing?

He looks like a corpse.

No one should look like that at 50.

I am really tempted right now to just start a million new threads with every available coaches name in the title with a question mark.

Isaiah Thomas?
Matt Doherty?
Lou Carnasecca?

This place is gonna be unbearable for some time. More so.
