You haven’t seen UConn do this yet eitherI still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.
Seems like we would rather run the clock down than shoot at times. This may be where Mullins is a key in tight games.I don’t like that play that we run where we pass up on three or four good looks, and then run the shot clock down to zero to get a violation.
Their big should have fouled out in the first half.Yep - most of the fouls on us were legit, and we need to clean up some stuff. However, Texas was not held to the same standard.
No you’re crazy. We don’t know if we’re a good team yet.We are 10-1. We have more quad 1 wins than anyone. And we haven’t even scratched the surface yet. This team is insanely talented and even more insanely deep. Enjoy this season guys, this team is special.
I still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.
Wins, wins, win sFouls, fouls, foul s
Did you watch Iowa v Iowa state game? Every great team is going to struggle with a not so great team at some point.I still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.
No…,they are notA very strong start in his first start, Braylon Mullins will be unstoppable if his S&C improves.
Hurley should add more sets to give Mullins more shots, and maybe some ISO plays...
this is a good Texas team.
For Matt Potter being a blind bastard. UConn did foul more than Texas, but Texas should not have had that large of a discrepancy in their favor.
What egg did we lay?I still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.
Duke trailed Texas at half, then won by 15. We basically led by 6-12 the entire way.I still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.

These commercial breaks are so damn long now. Not sure physically wearing people down is possible - mentally wearing them down is in the cards if we run better stuff and put more pressure on them.I really thought our depth would wear teams down and we'd pull away in 2nd half's.
Turns out our depth only provides competent replacements for foul trouble.
Not really. Playing UConn fixes it. Refs guarantee itI think the commentators said texas had 25 fouls against Texas southern in their last game. Hard to believe their defense cleaned up their foul problems that quickly.
In the first few games and into the BYU game he showed a quick and powerful burst to the rim. Haven’t seen that as much sinceThis is his chance to showcase his skills and make a case that he is a pro player. It’s a lot of pressure. He has shown glimpses and has the talent, but he is struggling to be consistent.
There were years when Yale was a nail biter. Life is good nowTexas isn’t a really bad team. Duke beat this team by 7 more than us. Michigan barely beat Wake Forest. Let’s calm down
I think they changed to a very aggressive tight defense from a more relaxed one. That broke up or prevented any rhythm. It's something we will see more of if we don't make them pay by more cutting and off the ball movement.I don't know what happened to our offense in the 2nd half. Just absolutely putrid.
I've said "ugly win, but a win is a win" to often this year, one of these ugly games is going to go against us sooner or later.
