Being able to beat an SEC team when Solo and Silas are net zeros on the court is encouraging.
Less encouraging is the regression from Solo and the inconsistency from Silas.
10-1 into BE play is probably best case scenario we expected before the season started. On to Butler.
Malachi seems to miss wide open players but still ends up with 9 assists. He is an enigma but I'm glad he is our enigma.Fourth big game in a row where I'm very grateful for Malachi when Demary has disappointed.
Also, nice to see Stewart have a solid game off the bench with the exclamation point at the end.
Not on us!"Call a foul"
probably the 30 calls they blew during the game. These had to be big east refs because they were bottom of the barrel
Texas isn’t a really bad team. Duke beat this team by 7 more than us. Michigan barely beat Wake Forest. Let’s calm downI still think we are really good. But then I watch a game like this and I’m not sure. I haven’t seen the team like Michigan or Duke lay an egg against a really bad team yet.
Hence why I said "Net". If he has an average shooting night, we win by 20+.I think "zero" Solo made the biggest shot of the game.
I guess you man from last year as he had a good game against Florida.Being able to beat an SEC team when Solo and Silas are net zeros on the court is encouraging.

I hate it!I don’t like that play that we run where we pass up on three or four good looks, and then run the shot clock down to zero to get a violation.
They either ran an amazing play for a dunk or wide open three. or they look like they sharted their shorts and could make a simple pass orOur 2nd half offense was a disgrace, but a win is a win. We’re a very good team, but the second half of this game hurt my eyes.
Probably cause Matt Potter for being a blind bastard throughout the game. I don't think the officiating was all that bad to be fair, but Texas was getting away with a lot.
Need to fix the rebounding issues as well.If we don’t stop the incessant fouling and if we don’t start hitting FT’s, we aren’t winning s—— this year. This is the 6 or 7th game that should have been a double digit win. And please don’t tell me about the refs. I know there were a lot of bad calls that did not go our way, but there were so many stupid fouls too. And there is no excuse for the constant missing of free throws. I’m happy for the win, but after all these games we’re seeing a pattern. And that pattern tells me that will be good, but not elite unless we fix these obvious defects. And by the way, the constant following and the missing free throws is adding about 30% more alcohol intake per game. So from my health standpoint, I would appreciate this to stop!
The play of the game was Mullins tip to Karaban, until Solo's logo 3 as the shot clock expired
Mullins/Stewart combo had 20, and UConn is going to win a lot of games when that number is 20 and above.Fourth big game in a row where I'm very grateful for Malachi when Demary has disappointed.
