I feel bad seeing Spani in tears despite a heroic effort. Happy for Gary Blair, though.

Does the UConn pep band play the fight song after the Huskies lose? I feel like it's customary for the winning band to be given their due in neutral court game.

Maybe it just seemed weird to hear "Rocky Top" blaring loudly because I've been psychologically conditioned to hate that song.

So the conference POY shot 4-12 for 10 points, with 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 4 TOs, and 4 fouls. Kind of offsets Spani's career game.

And the conference FOY had a relatively mediocre game too. Graves is terrific, but Warlick over used her and she ran out of gas about a month ago.
