Terrible TV reception

Reception fine here on Roku
but you're lucky if you didn't take in the absolutely inane
commentary by the CBS (so-called) experts.
I've can't remember such senseless blabbing
while the game unfolded unseen around them

Terrible broadcasting for a major network. Between the quick whistles of the refs and the poor staggard reception it was hard to get a flow.

Yes, we lost a few seconds here and there; we have it via Hulu. The male announcer was mediocre.

I stream via an XBox on Hulu Live TV and had no issues except if I paused the game for a few minutes. Upon restarting the game, I had a couple seconds of buffering but the playback started at the correct point.
I believe it is a Wi-Fi issue.

Xfinity here. Every minute or so, all game, (except ads) we lost audio for 5 seconds or so. 3 or so picture freezes, as well. The TV survived continuous off-color expletives from me...fortunately.

CBSSN is not a major network. Yes they are owned by CBS/Paramount but kind of a low-rent sports channel.

Jordan Kent the male announcer never pronounced Geno's last name correctly and was the worst one I've seen this season. The analyst Julianne Viana has covered UConn game and was mostly on point with her performance. Had no problems with Dish.

Terrible reception via Xfinity here in South Florida. I almost shut it off it was so bad!

Really? I'm sitting here watching the game on delay, thinking that the broadcasting is not so bad. Nowhere near as bad as some of what happens on ESPN during the tournament.

Xfinity in Maryland. It froze once for about 5-10 seconds, otherwise OK. The play-by-play man was incompetent: his job is to announce the play-by-play, not chat with the color commentator.

Interesting. I watched on Xfinity and had the same issues...really bad. But I also have Hulu. I can watch through that?

Had trouble with the glitching and freezing. Seems it was Xfinity's problem, not CBSSN.

BUT, because this wasn't on SNY and blacked out everywhere else, I was able to find it on YouTube without the freezing and glitches. So again, very happy to not have it on SNY. It was nice not to have to look at coaches or people in the stands while play was going on.

As for the announcers, well there are so very few decent announcers, it doesn't really matter.

Xfinity- almost unwatchable. Froze constantly. So annoying.

I don't want to say that you people are old but....TV reception? It has been at least 40 years since I had bad TV reception and that is only because I was trying to watch TV from my dorm room (otherwise it would be near 50 years).

BUT... he copied the "You Bet" exclamation made famous by one of SNY's announcers.

MSGRET- - - A couple of times I saw Julianne Viana play PG for Marist! Really good player but small!
I like her calling of the game!
