This thread will probably go no where but this kid deserves some appreciation. He has scored 11 and 10 poins in the past 2 game after playing scrub minutes most of the year.

11-12 from the line in crunch time in 2 games. I thought this kid couldn't shoot!

He likely won't start next year (he will play big time minutes) because Boat is Boat and Purvis looks like a 2 year player but T Sam is looking like he could end up as a rich man's Taliek and I am unbelievably grateful we have this kid on our squad.

You're right, he won't start but I think we're all feeling a lot better about what he can contribute. He's a long and strong on defense and will provide productive minutes.

TSam might be the most improved freshman who got virtually no PT for 80 to 90% of the season.

The kid must have worked his ass off to get where is now. Big time props to TSam. His contribution has not been small. Without his elevated play UConn would not be playing tomorrow.

What's the best thing about freshmen? They become sophomores.

You're right. He certainly hasn't played like a frosh. Amazing. Feels no pressure to perform on the biggest stage after not playing much during the season. Big time props to KO as well. One, for recruiting the kid. And, two, for brining him along.
