Alexa Middleton is a PG. Was a McD AA.But with the loss of Cooper, is there anyone on the roster who can play PG?

Really? she seemed to be a 3 pt specialistAlexa Middleton is a PG. Was a McD AA.
I mean I've seen her shoot more than pass. Never saw anything resembling a PG type player.Really? she seemed to be a 3 pt specialist
Have seen her pass more than shoot
From HS evaluations:I mean I've seen her shoot more than pass. Never saw anything resembling a PG type player.
Yes, old news indeed but Cooper has big time potential and is fun to watch. Big loss. Carter is such a gritty player and really puts her heart into every play. When she talks about her body injuries/knee pain I believer her because every single time I watch Tennessee I see her sacrificing her body one way or another. I will really miss watching Carter play.
Tennessee still has a lot of talent but this is definitely a blow.
Best of luck to Draya and Te'a for speedy recoveries. Injuries suck! On Draya she certainly had my admiration because she was truly the rare Lady Vols who truly understood that playing winning basketball required effort on both ends of the court. Off the basketball court she won more of my admiration by demonstrating incredible poise with her articulate responses at the post game presser after some tough losses. Draya was an incredible leader who understood what needed to be done to win and more than willing to do her part. Draya was robbed by her teammates and let down by her head coach. Her Teammates were not willing to do their part and the HC was equally unwilling to hold those not doing their part accountable.
Warlick will escape being fired, everyone will cite injuries.![]()
That depends if you are a glass half full or half empty type person. Warlick also had regular season wins over two of the FF teams last year (Syracuse & Oregon State. ) The glass half empty person would point to the program lows like the number of losses to unranked teams and the .500 SEC conference record. I'm a UCONN fan so I'm glass is half full in this case. I think Holly deserves a long extension-coach for life sounds reasonable to me.Didnt Warlick take her team to the E8 last season? Does that warrant being fired?
The problem is although many SEC coaches have an idea about offense, they have only a small clue about offense. There is a dearth of teams in the SEC that teach modern ball movement, share the ball offense. I'm holding out hope for Stephanie at Vandy. I would love to see Warlick do what Dawn has done at SC. That is hire a coach who is good at both analytics and offensive schemes, then make them a pseudo coach. Smart woman that Dawn.Deshields may well turn pro at the end of this academic year. If so, all eyes will be on whether Holly can do any significant recruiting during this year. If not, the countdown likely begins.....

Well deserved.I know there's a lot of UT hatred on our forum.
I don't share in it.
That is sick. Just sick.I'd love to see their program return to the forefront.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee's backcourt sustained two major losses, with Andraya Carter forgoing her final season of eligibility and Te'a Cooper out the entire season with a knee injury.
Carter issued a statement Wednesday saying she was ending her college career to recover from a series of injuries. Lady Volunteers coach Holly Warlick said Cooper injured her left knee while playing basketball at home.
