I am curious to see how the Lady Vols look in Year 2 under Coach Caldwell. I do hope that there is a nice bump in how the team plays as the players, current and returning, know what is expected of them going into the season and that players are working on their craft.

Exactly.......I expect she will be in the starting lineup for the beginning of the SEC season, regardless of what she did......

Different coach, facing this situation for the first time. Be interesting to see what she does.
 
Wait, where is our incessant Lady Vol poster offering their opinion on an actual issue instead of the constant “rah-rah” posts of trivial activity. Hey @stwainfan you cant run and hide here. What ate your thoughts? For me, i see a tepid 2 game suspension against the lame OOC teams as i am sure an out of court settlement will occur and the charges will be dropped….

somehow I don't see Geno letting one of his players off the hook if they ever did something like this......then again, it's unlikely that he would recruit a player capable of this kind of thing....

I am waiting until some more information and decision from coach Caldwell is out.
I think sometimes we need to wait before committing.

Politically speaking all the “likes” and comments are fine but the reality is “where there is smoke, there is fire” aLao applies. Sure, you can wait for all the “spin” of the situation that you want but the fact still rent that Whitehorn put herself, the other woman and the TN program under scrutiny. Yes I think some undisclosed settlement will occur to compensate the complainant and many will then say “see? It was all made up.” But I am highly suspect given that the police don't arrest individuals without a probable cause especially in assault or abuse cases. So yes, this of you who cling to the “innocent until proven guilty”, fine but most of us know better and know a financial settlement and “hard spin” by TN will be occurring to paint this as a misunderstanding. As @Charliebball so adeptly pointed out, Geno would not tolerate this and the player would be gone.
