I would say. I think this team will finish in the top four of the SEC. I say elite 8 or final four.So where do you think Tennessee ends up in the SEC, and where will they finish in the rankings overall ?
Lofty goals. I honestly don't see it but more power to you for believing. I have trouble seeing Tennessee ranked higher than the big four of South Carolina, LSU, Oklahoma or Texas. Competing for fifth in the league seems more reasonable to me. And another year to the sweet 16 seems likely -- maybe the elite 8 with a favorable matchups but this roster has the look (i.e, talent and experience) of a sweet 16 squad to me.I would say. I go by a few things. First coach Caldwell has winning career record. Year one went from not ranked to sweet 16. The roster is think is better for this style. I like her answer here.Lofty goals. I think this year's team will be faster. It was 80 vs Uconn.97-point average!!!
Which southern state directional school will face full-court pressure when down by 60 in the 4th quarter? Last season it was North Carolina Central.

Caldwell has also had a year. To learn how to play in the SEC. I think this team will be faster. Yes height is important. I think Tennessee will add another player.Seems like a lot of rah rah and pumping up the fan base but I think it's going to be harder said than done. The rest of the SEC also has a year of understanding Kim's system and I suspect teams will be better prepared now that they've faced it. The detriment of her system is that the SEC is a tall league and she seems to be sacrificing height for speed. I don't think Barker and Spearman will be enough defensively and the ultimate failure of this system will be that factor. This system seems great for winning games and causing upsets, but it doesn't seem like a championship system at the highest level of basketball where player size becomes a factor and consistency is key.
Yes i agree. I think Civil and Prawl are both going to add a lot. Civil is a raw talent. She can be a big problem by her senior year. Also how much better will Cooper be?This is a great fit for the Lady Vols!! JB is a guard in a post players body. If Coach Caldwell stays with the uptempo system, having JB in that system is going to be fun to watch! JB can rebound and handle the ball. The key, like for all players, what are they doing over the off-season? If Janiah hits the gym and works on her game, shooting from range and keep improving, the Lady Vols are going to be a huge problem next season. We shall see. But on paper, I am loving this addition to the Lady Vols program.
