The only thing Geno can complain about at the half is giving up offensive rebounds. Otherwise, that final play at the end between Pheesa and Saniya. My.
Yeah, Temple got 17 O boards in a half. They must have shot 10% on first shots.

So far I think I'm more impressed with tonight's performance than any other game in conference play.
I don't know - the USF game was a clinic in UCONN offense and defense as well. Wait till the 2nd half plays out - I suspect we won't score much over 30 points in the 2nd half...

Has UConn ever given up 17 O-rebounds in a half before? I'm no expert but that number sounds huge.

I guess if you're gonna give up extra possessions, it's best to do it in a game where you're holding the opponent to 20% shooting.

This is a different attack by uconn. KLS in the paint a lot trying to get another black eye . Attack attack and some more attack. Awesome Collier doing it all steals , blocks and passing

You know, against USF I was really disappointed in Fernandez. He kept exhorting his team to push the ball and play with pace when UConn was killing them with pace. He just didn't seen to have a plan B. I mean, push the ball up court then stop and run set plays? I didn't get it. His team kept hoisting up shots early in the shot clock and were getting buried. To me, UConn's execution, patience, intensity and defense on the perimeter is more impressive today. Maybe it's just me, but for me, this is one of their best of the year. Certainly the best in conference play.

ESPN3 has another Geno interview that some of you may have seen before.
If not, he's talking about his mom, who always asks him: how are you; take care of yourself; stop yelling at the girls [his team]!

Says he used to be on twitter, but they took him off because "he couldn't be trusted".

Geno is much happier at halftime than he was on Saturday. And Justine is all dressed up.
Honestly, despite my over talking, you've got the half far better summarized.

I think in the direct competition between Saniya and Crystal Dangerfield, Saniya has got her head on straight and her confidence so high (+ very food defense) that Saniya will own the starting position. Crystal Dangerfield has alot of room to improve both offensively and defensively and she will with substantial minutes in a rotation but this year, Saniya will lead UConn in the tournament and Crystal Dangerfield will be ready as a sophomore to be top dog.

Espn box score says 11 offensive rebounds for Temple. And some of those have been long rebounds over the heads of our guys who have been boxing out. True, 11 is still not a great number, but it's not as shocking as 17.

Well, if the Owls are going to get rebounds, it almost has to be on the offensive end, because the Huskies are shooting 77% on the other end.

I'm seeing 17 on ESPN.com.
