Temple is on a winning streak, but most of their wins have been fairly unimpressive -- 68-53 or so, against the teams that we've been beating by 50.

Basketball isn't transitive, but maybe these guys are a little overrated? We'll see.

Temple has come to scrap tonight. They are playing hard on every possession on both ends. They really look like an early version of UConn.

I would love to hear what you all think about Temple's PG - Butts. I watched her vs. USF and was very unimpressed with her PG skills (ie. running the offense and helping create scoring opportunities for teammates). She was mostly all 1 on 1. Surprising for a UCONN-tree coached team...

Don't get me wrong - she's cat quick and can get her shot off in a heartbeat, but that's not what being a good PG is IMHO...

My other impression was that Temple does not run much of anything resembling offense, so their scoring will go thru long droughts and will look disjointed...
