Agree with your points. Looks to me like he's going to his left more as his opportunities and minutes have increased this season. I know he's been studying Sanogo tapes since his Michigan days and certainly looks confident when he puts it up-in traffic-with his left hand. Sanogo was automatic in the deep paint and Tarris is showing similar trends.Tarris walked in being able to use both hands well.
Would love to see Tarris as more of a hub of the offense, and developing him in the passing game. This is one thing Sonogo didn’t do well, as was generally a black hole. Tarris comes off as a more mindful passer. A kid like Broome averages almost 3.5 assists per game given the attention he gets. Tarris will start drawing more attention the further we go, so it’ll be nice if that extra attention turns into open looks on the perimeter.
