2/3Not every year. I’d settle for every other year.

Couldn't agree more, for several reasons.I actually think our OOC games are more important than BE games.
I always see it and think "good to [something]". Dunk? Drive? Drop a dime?
We are delusional yes, but that's not it..... our fan base has become incredibly delusional. Almost like we're now expected to win every championship for the next 20 years or its a bust

But he has to play when we're at Seton Hall. 😉It is frustrating, these are big games. He can miss Big East games if he has too, because our league stinks
Last year we had a bad November and it hampered our seeding in March. We probably make a second weekend run if not forced to play the eventual champs in round 2.It’s 12/2…..it’s pretty simple: if he’s hurt he shouldn’t play. UConn is about March/April, not December. We need him once we are there, not to get there.
Points for consistency. If there's a chance to knock a UConn dude and slobber over an opponent, you are all over it.Bidunga would eat Reibe up. He is a wildly athletic 5.
I would say that putting Koroma on Bidunga isn't a horrible idea. Probably someone who can stay with him on defense and bother him a bit, but he'd really struggle to have any offensive impact at all.I wonder if there is any chance Reibe starts and depending on the score, if he is able to stay out of foul trouble, it is a wait and see approach with Reed. If there is ever a chance they can compete without him, then maybe he sits, rests and sits out against East Texas A&M to give him over a week off. Maybe he dresses, but does not play based on what's going on in the game.

This year, given the caliber of our OOC and with the BE looking terrible, it's even that more important to win these early season games.
And if he hurts himself worse because he comes back too soon, it won’t matter what seed we have in March, we ain’t winning anything without him then. You really think that’s worth the risk??Last year we had a bad November and it hampered our seeding in March. Listen, wear your blue tribal war paint all you want. I call it how it is. Do you want me to sugarcoat it for your preferred flavor? Have you watched him, know anything about FD? He's a very long, undersized 5 who is incredibly athletic & active. He's being mocked in plenty of first rounds. He's not one of the big goony Euros on Illinois. This would not be a great matchup for Reibe.Points for consistency. If there's a chance to knock a UConn dude and slobber over an opponent, you are all over it.
Everyone is blinded by homerism but me! I'm the only one who calls it like it is! I and only I can see the truth as it truly is!Listen, wear your blue tribal war paint all you want. Inyatkin preference - Reibe is going to play GREAT. He's going to dig deep and build on his last game and go toe to toe!! How incessantly boring is that?
I'm looking at the two players, objectively. I said Bidunga is really athletic, and it's a bad matchup for Reibe, who is not. Why take it so personal?
what also hurt last year was losing the guy who was becoming the focal point of our offense for 6 weeks with an injury when we were maybe starting to turn the corner. And his not being at full strength hurt our chances in March.Last year we had a bad November and it hampered our seeding in March. Do you know how annoying it is that you comment on every single one of my posts that show even mild eval of our players that isn't rosey dude? I feel like smacking you in the face like one of the Three Stooges. Why don't you live by this - you don't agree, disagree. But please with your personal attacks man. The whole point of a message board is discussion - not everyone waiving their poms poms. I know for some it's an outlet to be snarky and testing their wit, which isn't great with most of you.Everyone is blinded by homerism but me! I'm the only one who calls it like it is! Do you get how annoying that is?

You'd probably dig me.If I commented on every one of your posts, I'd do nothing but comment on your posts.
Also, I don't know you personally, so am unable to make personal attacks. I'm not sure you know what you're even mad about.
Ignore, cuts down BY time unbelievably! I do enjoy some of the Ruffsters posts, but it is so tedious to parse through the acrimonious personal back and forths that he invariably is involved with to get to those takes.Everyone is blinded by homerism but me! Agree - I don't love being part of the personal back and forth and feel you on that. Will do best to ignore going forward. Maybe the usuals can do the same. I do highly appreciate your use of the word "acrimonisous" perfectly positioned.Ignore, cuts down BY time unbelievably! You might even appreciate it more if you spelled it correctly.....just sayin 😀Agree - I don't love being part of the personal back and forth and feel you on that. We did in year 1 but lost at home the same year. Haven’t swept themWe still have not beaten Seton Hall at Seton Hall under Hurley
I liked "waiving pom-poms," which appeared in an earlier post. You might even appreciate it more if you spelled it correctly.....just sayin 😀
