I looked it up and he is actually 2 games under .500.......Temple went 9-4 and then 4-7 went to bc and went 7-6 and 7-6 and then this years disaster..........belichek was a disaster in cleveland.....He had one year as OC there. One. Otherwise he was a position coach. As a HC he is 4 games over .500. Four. If that makes a GREAT coach..... there are a sheetload of them walking around.

Blessed to say I've just received an offer from the prestigious Stanford University ! #NerdNation #FearTheTree
Hate to sound like a pessimist, but is it fair to say it seems increasingly doubtful he'd choose UConn over all these P5 offers he's neck-deep under?
I think it's safe to say Tarik Black won't be going to BC...not after the offensive display put on this season. Nice to see Coach Smoke & Mirrors is back at it again with 5th yr transfers. As for playing in BCS Bowls soon...too bad the BCS is over and done with. Winning the ACC and going to a Football playoff ....keep dreaming because that's the only place BC will be playing in any of those games!BC is on thrise the way Addazio is recruiting and the way his team is playing I wouldn't be surprised if they soon go to BCS bowl games.
If you have an opportunity for a free education from Stanford, I say go for it. All its takes is one injury or concussion to end your football career.
That's the ignorance (or not knowing) of a kid.. They go with the flow moreso at that age instead of truly think about a career... Their heads are so gassed up because of all the attention they get at the HS level from "friends" , fans, social media, college football recruiters... But I get it... It's a growing up process. A good one. Enjoy the ride while your young. For real. This is why I think the kids that go Ivy have the right idea. There are so many 2-3* players that go to a "football" school instead of Harvard or Yale, despite having no shot at the NFL. If you're not an NFL prospect, go Ivy or go to a great academic school.
I'm thinking either Stanford or Michigan...
And yet another CT football player without D1 talent.
There is some D1 talent - some.My post was pure sarcasm directed at those who claim CT and New England does not produce D1 level football talent.

This post will probably get me in trouble. Quite frankly, I love SEC Football and have friends at a couple of those schools. However, if a young man has any more than just a cursory interest in academics the program is not for them. Again, I don't have a problem with that - and if they stay 4-5 years they will most likely graduate - but they won't learn much or be challenged in the classroom. It is what it is - and this doesn't mean they are bad academic schools - but as a football player you won't experience that - just the program designed to keep them in school for their football career and hand then a piece of paper called a diploma after that in case they don't make the NFL.
MOM and DAD are proud of you Franklin.Personally, if UConn weren't playing Division 1 football I couldn't give a rat's about college football. I think the same would go for basketball. I think I'm just a UConn fan. So if UConn is eventually boxed out of competing at the highest level I don't think I would even follow any college sports any longer. In the same vein since there is no "local" pro team I don't care about any pro sport. I've dropped all the sports channels, I won't put a penny into the account of the B1GN, SECN, or any other network until UConn gets into a power conference. I'll let my money do my talking to the networks. And with this position, possibly to the surprise of many, I still lead a rich, full and exciting life.
