Talk about balance

It's what happens when a bad team plays a good one. We should try to emulate Cincy going forward.

looks like we're going to have to forget an entire season

it's like we've only played 6 games so far

If they emulated us they would have a lot more banners in their arena, but go ahead, wish you we were Cincy.

If u think that matters as much as it does, why are we in the position we are in? And cinncy is a top 20 team this year while we can barely score 20 in a half

I'm still trying to understand why you think having 4 banners means anything this season or trying to emulate a good cincy team, but keep talking out of ur ass
Man you are dense. Emulate means to attempt to match or aspire to be. So this means you think UConn should try to match Cincy or aspire to be them in the future. We are having a down year, and are ravaged by injuries, but UConn will never and should never aspire to be Cincy in any way, shape, or form. As a program they are beneath us, this year for them is nice, but it is nothing special in terms of the standards of UConn.

Man some people on this board cannot see 2 inches in front or behind them.

Amen man. Thank you.

Today Cincy honored their 1992 final 4 team. Since then they have to be to the Elite 8 twice, and the Sweet 16 twice despite being in the tournament 19 times. In that same time span, UConn has 4 national championships, a final 4 appearance, and 4 Elite 8s. But yes lets emulate Cincinnati. LOL.

Yep. Another way of saying it is other programs aspire to win one NC. We've got that covered and then some.

The fact people completely ignore UConn is without 2 of their top 3 players for the year including their only other PG/reliable ball handler astounds me. Not to mention having to play most of the year handicapped with only having 1-2 subs and relying on freshman who probably would have only seen about 10 min a game without the injuries. Just have to chalk this up to a lost/developmental year and enjoy whatever positive growth we see in the players who will be here for next year and the future. This is a rebuilding year unfortunately but UConn will rebound next year and be deeper and stronger because of this year

Not to mention our two dysfunctional, underachieving seniors also

Our undermanned guys continued to play hard all game. Cincy, not a great outside shooting team most of the years was raining threes, and we looked better than Kentucky at Florida or Arizona at Oregon

It's the way they played with two of their top three players that is alarming. They just got undressed on national TV. UConn is a program they shouldn't have to rebuild. Our down season should be 20 wins.

We have, as a program, produced enough miracles that no one with a brain should jump off the bandwagon. But our recent play in the regular season has been mediocre at best. And this season it has been terrible. Yes, other teams have bad games but few elite teams have the resume of consistently poor regular seasons that come down to the Huskies level.

We need a stellar regular season and soon if we are to maintain our status as a top program.
