I said before Vir. would win the ACC regular season. Cuse could have 6 losses by the time we start the NCAA tour. Pitt will have 10 losses.

Wow. BC was #194 in RPI going into tonight's game! That is just a dreadful dreadful loss for Syracuse.

The good news for BC is that with this win they can finally move ahead of #193 USC-Upstate!

Imagining Boeheim had just a little fire?

It's strange, because he's always been able to dig deep late in games.

here's a posting from the Syracuse chat board bragging about their academics:

You get it. Joining the ACC will be the best thing that happened to this school. Big East and the AAC will both be mid-level especially when Louisville joins the ACC. And it's not basketball. It's everything: Lacrosse comes to the forefront. Softball, Football, track but most importantly: academics. We are in the same league as Duke, Virginia, UNC, Boston College, Ga. Tech, Wake Forest and ND. In a survey first taken in late 2012. ACC's 14 schools placed first in academics among the top 6 power conferences. The average placement: 51. To compare the Big Ten was 57, the Pac 12 was 82 and the Big East ... wait for it... 130.
We were 58 in 2012 and I'll betcha we're better now. Affiliation is everything.

WOW They are dreaming - they compare to Duke, UVA and G Tech academically???

WOW They are dreaming
Or this person is just completely bereft of an understanding of logic.

They act like they belong academically with those schools like they would be if it were the B1G. But everyone except this guy knows ACC doesn't give a duck about a community of academics. By this guy's incomplete logic, Louisville must be on the same academic level as Duke and UNC.
