79% now.For whatever it's worth, FiveThirtyEight's projected probability of UConn winning the tournament just went up from 74% at the beginning of today to 76% now.

Well they did look pretty bad @ the beginning of the season.Tara is a hell of a coach. I would never have predicted Stanford to look this good with that roster at the beginning of the season.
Turner is totally out of it for ND. Ineffective on both ends of the floor.[/QUOTE
Kind of like the championship game last year
Interesting. That's gotta be because of the Stanford-Notre Dame halftime score.79% now.
She did! I wonder if she's in pain..hope not.DeShields seemed like she was going to cry in that interview
Didn't Tenn already lose to Syracuse this season?
Either way, zones give that team fits.
As I mentioned awhile ago, no one has put the stake through the heart of Tennessee just yet. Looks like they may have figured out how to play as a team.
I agree, but I thought the same thing at halftime of the championship game last year, and she came back with a big second half. So we'll see.Turner is totally out of it for ND. Ineffective on both ends of the floor.

What is this sorcery you speak?I tried telling anyone who would listen, that they would figure it out and that Holly deserved more time. They will find their way into a top 5 team I believe as early as next year.

Not only did Kara call it, but she said that SC needs to upgrade their outside shooting. Kaela Davis is NOT the answer to that at all. The #1 PG from the Canadian team junior program de-committed from SC. Unless Alisha Gray is a dead eye from beyond the arc, they will be worse next year than they were this year from beyond. Can't win it all with just a strong frontcourt...If SC had anyone that could shoot from outside they win by double digits. Syracuse wasn't guarding past 12'.
I pulled the number before the late game tipped off, so it's not the Stanford factor. And when the day started, 538 agreed with you that Notre Dame was the most likely team to reach the championship game from that half of the bracket. So the only thing I can think of is that IF Notre Dame somehow doesn't make it to the championship game, they now won't be replaced there by anyone as good as South Carolina, which makes things easier for whoever emerges from UConn's half of the bracket.Wow! Could someone please explain to me why? shouldn't this give ND an easier road? 538 might like SC, but pretty much everyone else knew that UConn wants to play SC more than ND or Baylor, I think. Or does that now include the increased possibility of a Stanford win. Go Trees!
SC is hitting threes and it makes a huge difference. They could always go cold in the 2nd half and the game may tighten up again.

but she's a rebounder not a shooterSamuelson is open on nearly every possession and they're not looking for her..
65-53 Stanford 2:50 3rd ND needs a run here to stay in it
